US bans 13 Salvadoran army officials for 'gross violation of human rights' over 1989 murder of Jesuit priests



The State Department on Wednesday banned 13 former Salvadoran military officials from entering the U.S. for “gross violation of human rights” committed in November 1989 when six Jesuit priests and two others were murdered on a university campus during the height of the El Salvadoran Civil War.
